If you have an account on the IUS LAN, you can create your own homepage or other Web documents on you personal account. Follow the instructions for SpinWeb below and you will create a web folder and template web page (called HOMEPAGE.HTM) that you can customize to suit your own purposes.
Important Note for Spinweb users

All off-campus users are required to download the IU Windows Authentication Update Tool in order to successfully run Spinweb and create their homepage folder.

To Get Started
|
- Open a web browser and go to http://www.ius.edu/SpinWeb
- Enter your IUS UserID and Password
- Domain : ADS
- XP users will have to prefix the username with ADS\ as shown in this figure.
- NOTE: Some computers on campus does not require you to log in to the Spinweb application.
- SpinWeb will create your web folder and add your name to the homepage listing
NOTE: ANY files placed in your web publishing folder or any subfolder of it will be visible to ANYONE on the Internet.

To View Your HOMEPAGE.HTM
|
- The URL to your homepage will be "http://homepages.ius.edu/UserName" where UserName is the account name you use to log into the IU-Southeast LAN.
- You may also use "www.ius.edu/UserName", which will redirect to your homepage on the homepages.ius.edu server.
- Your name is added to a group page listing depending on your status at IU-Southeast as well as the All IUS listing.
- Student - www.ius.edu/Students

To Edit Your Personal Web Pages

PC users:
- Once you have logged onto your IUS LAN account, drive W: will be mapped to your personal web publishing folder.
- You can use FTP to access your web publishing folder from off-campus. For instructions, please visit http://it.ius.edu/ComputerServices/FTPpc.cfm
