The first thing you need to know is the instructor's Voice-mail box number. You may obtain the number from the instructor, or the instructor's division.
If the voice mail box number begins with "2", you should dial your instructor directly by dialing "941" and then the box number. If the instructor is not available, his/her voice mail will answer after four rings and you can eave a message.
If your instructor's mail box number begins with a "6", please follow the instructions below.
You dial:
The system responds:
941-2100
"Thank you for calling IU Southeast. If you know your party's extension number, please press "#" now..."
You dial #
"Please enter an extension number."
Dial the four digit mailbox number (xxxx)
(Instructor's message)... followed by ..."You may start your message now."
Complete your message and dial "X" (9)
"Message complete."
Dial "X" (9) again
"Thank you for calling."
If you do not need to talk to anyone else, you should hang up.
If you do need to talk to someone else, after the "Thank you for calling", stay on the line and you will hear "Please enter an extension number". The process above may be repeated as many times as necessary.
